Ilyse Zultowski, PT, DPT, CMPT
Ilyse comes to Endurance Physical Therapy with over 17 years of experience as a physical therapist. Ilyse graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Champaign in 2004 and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois - Chicago in 2007.
Ilyse has a passion for helping others and enjoys treating a wide array of orthopedic injuries and chronic pain conditions. Ilyse prides herself in providing individualized, hands-on care. Her specialties include manual therapy, vestibular therapy, and treating complex cases/diagnoses. In 2011, Ilyse received her certification in manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She uses advanced mobilization and manipulation skills every day when treating patients. She especially loves taking on challenging cases and treating patients who have failed traditional treatment in the past.
Ilyse is an advocate of evidenced-based physical therapy and has been actively involved in research in addition to her clinical practice. As a result, her treatments include the most current and innovative techniques and theories. She has kept very current in the physical therapy profession and has helped teach physical therapy students at Northwestern University for a number of years. As a result of her teaching experience, Ilyse is excellent at educating patients to promote independence in symptom management and self-advocacy.
When she is not treating, Ilyse’s interests include spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, being active outdoors, and attending live music concerts.
